The "Implement Series" is inspired by ancient weapons and tools. The more weapon-like of the series are influenced by such antecedents as African throwing knives, clubs, and axes or by traditional Indian weapons such as "tiger claws". The tool-like Implements are inspired by traditional agricultural devices: shears, fruit pickers, and cultivating forks.
